Had a great productive weekend on the War Machine frame. Got to spend an afternoon with Jimmy Flowers and we got the 1940 X-Member and pedal assemblies all lined up and welded in. The frame should be more than strong enough for the V-8 and if I decide to mount a 30mm cannon in the backseat. Thanks for the assistance Jimmy.
Decided for practicality to definitely run the '55 Eldorado dual 4 setup. Got my Nicson air cleaners back (Thank God, I was wigging out) after being misplaced in a box for a few years. I am really digging the look of the dual 4's set up as it has come together.

Just about finished up the fab work. Super happy to use this 50 chevy taillight. Had it for awhile and spent a little bit making it work on the sissy bar. Put a new socket in it so I only have one bulb and reinforced the mounts so hopefully no flying taillights. Mounted the plate down low and the brake set up was a booger. I got it all dialed in and it even looks good. I like mechanical things so the brake does what it is supposed to do. All that is left is the oil filter and key set up. Then blow it apart and finish all the welding. Still have not decided on paint and am having fits over it.

Built this bike about 2 years ago for Jake. He is going on to a bigger bike so this has got to go. Anchor built hardtail, exhaust, sissy bar, shaved fork legs, etc etc. Bike is solid and has made it on some fairly long trips. Titled and in good solid running shape. 3500.00 or best offer. Hit me up and I will get you his #

W.O.W. gave us a chance to spark our Hot Rod and Motorcycle interests in the dead of winter. There were some great cars there this year, and there were some that I threw up in my mouth a little, but all in all it was worthwhile to get out of the house and get some new ideas and see what is being created here in the MidWest.
While temperatures dropped down to 18 degrees, what better thing to do than have a Punk Rods Shindig down at the garage on Saturday night? We got to spend some time with friends and shoot the shit, eats some burgers, enjoy some beverages, light some bottle rockets at off duty police officers as they left the lot and even do some late night mini biking. "Ben I hope you are OK?"
All in all was a good time to hang out with brothers, sisters and friends. I am inspired to get back to working on my project and marking off the days on the calendar until Spring arrives. Here were some shots of the weekend
