Relaxing and content with 2 weeks before GREASERAMA.

So I have gotten pretty damn caught up on all the prerequisites for this year's GREASERAMA. The club has really stepped up on their duties and I really feel we are on track for another great show.
I had a little time to breath this weekend, so what do I do? Hell I have been tired of looking at the Model A frame with no body. I have the vision in my head, but I wanted to see the stance, so why not take my whole weekend and get this accomplished. I can't wait to get the fenders in place, because this will be a full fendered hot rod. Yep FENDERS! So, to see what it looked like after taking the body off the old frame and putting it on the new one, at first it looked like most any fenderless hot rod out there, but once I set the rear one in place and saw the stance......I knew I was going to obtain the level of sinister I had envisioned.

Punk Rod Todd Memorial Art Auction

 "Kartoonahan" by David Goodrich
One of the many amazing pieces available at the auction.

The Punk Rod Todd Memorial Art Auction will take place Friday, August 31st, during the Greaserama pre-party at the Record Bar, 1020 Westport Rd, KCMO 64111.  There will be a silent auction (for the majority of the items) starting at 8pm and a live auction (for a select few items) starting at 9pm.  The silent auction ends when the live auction ends, which will probably be about 9:20pm.  Bid early and often!  We’ll be accepting cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

All proceeds will go to benefit Leslie Karnahan, Todd’s beloved wife.

Photos of donated artwork and more are being posted on Facebook; both on the Greaserama event page:

And on the Amigos de los Punk Rods group page:

Welcome the two newest members to los PUNK RODS, Derrick and Tammy. They have been prospects for over a year, gave many hours of their time to benefit the C.C., met their responsibilities to tasks given and accomplished, and a little over a week ago made a 7 hour round trip in their rods to the KKOA Leadsled Spectacular on their own.
You are officially considered family and we are proud to have you as fulfilled PR members.
